Can You Use Your Dashing Powers Against The Corrupt And Powerful?

MLA Ram Kadam beats an Engineer

Political parties are known to create publicity stunts to brag their supreme power. This is nothing but cheap marketing of their strategies to perhaps influence some category of helpless people who lack the power of understanding and ability to stay in harmony. Our great political leaders know how to make fool out of us.It’s sad but true. You will hardly find one politician in the lot who has the inner feeling to do one bit for his nation and its people.

So when someone tries to come up with anything vibrant I just can’t categorize it more than a stunt.Recently MNS MLA Ram Kadam’s men beat up a BMC engineer because he was found to be extorting money from a lot of common people to get their work done.

People had complained against him to the MLA.He was beaten up with loyalty and dispatched by a mob of party followers to the ICU.Now, the question I have is plain and simple. Is this the only way to deal with it?

Couldn’t the responsible MLA use his powers to get the person out of the office instead of attacking him to create a stunt and unnecessary propaganda of emotions? I fail to understand the logic behind doing it.Are all his own party members untainted? Will he do the same type of behavior with any other person even if he is from his own party? Why doesn’t he take the same stance against all the criminal politicians who have been extorting money from the common man’s pocket every day and are still unsatisfied with their mission?

Does he have it in him to use the same so-called dashing powers against the corrupt but powerful?  If an MLA feels that law is not adept for dealing with such a situation doesn’t he have the powers to agitate and channelize the process of law amendments instead of taking law in his own hand? Who stops him from doing that? What type of principles are such politicians demonstrating to the common man? Is it okay if the common man also follows the same sort of principles? If ‘No’ then such double standards are unacceptable.

Boasting about your stance by putting city-wide banners is just a cheap and tame way to demonstrate your power. Will such politicians come to help and fight for people irrespective of whosoever is at fault and whenever they are in need?
